DOC Validation Stickers

Background

The Department of Corrections of the State of Rhode Island is seeking bids from vendors to provide thermal security validation stickers/forms. The goal of this contract is to ensure that the Department has the necessary materials for security validation purposes.

Work Details

The contract requires the provision of 500,000 thermal security validation stickers and registration cards. The specifications for these items are detailed in the attached solicitation documents. Vendors must ensure that all products meet the outlined specifications and quality standards.

Period of Performance

The initial contract period will begin approximately on July 1, 2026, for one year. There are options to renew for up to four additional 12-month periods based on vendor performance and availability of funds.

Place of Performance

Deliveries are to be made to the Central Distribution Center, Department of Corrections, located at 25 Power Road, Cranston, RI 02920.

Bidder Requirements

Vendors must register in Ocean State Procures™ to submit responses. They must comply with insurance requirements including liability coverage of $1 million per occurrence, workers compensation, and automobile liability. Additionally, vendors are encouraged to include minority business enterprises in their proposals as per Rhode Island law.
