Remove and replace two boilers in building 1047 This notice is for an Invitation for Bid (IFB) solicitation for the New Mexico Air National Guard (NMANG) located on Kirtland Air Force Base, New Mexico for removing and replacing two boilers in building 1047. Please be aware that there is a brand name requirement for Lochinvar brand boilers only. This sealed bid is utilizing Revolutionary FAR Overhaul (RFO) FAR Part 12, FAR Part 14, and FAR Part 36. Please review the solicitation document for the date, time, and location of the pre-bid conference and site visit. Please review the required information that must be submitted to attend the site visit. Please note that the location of the site visit and bid opening are at different locations. Please review Section 00110 00 Notes and Section 00 21 00 Instructions for more information. The deadline to submit questions and requests for information (RFI) for this requirement is listed within the solicitation documentation, section 00 21 00 Instructions. Questions and RFI submitted after the deadline may not be answered or acknowledged. The Government intends to award a Firm Fixed Price Contract for this requirement. This requirement is a Total Small Business Set-Aside. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 238220 - Plumbing, Heating, Air-Conditioning Contractors, the size standard is $19.0 Million. Per RFO FAR 36.101-3(b) the budget parameters for this project are between $250,000 and $350,000. Please review the solicitation document for date, time, and location of the bid opening. Facsimile/ mailed/ electronic submissions of bids shall not be accepted. Only in person, hand delivery of bids will be accepted at the bid opening and up to one (1) hour prior to the bid opening may they be submitted. Late submission of bids will not be accepted. Please note that the location of the bid opening is at different location than the pre-bid conference/ site visit, again please reivew the solicitation document for the location, date, and time of the site visit and bid opening. In accordance with FAR 52.204-7, all prospective bidders interested in submitting a bid in response to this solicitation must have a current registration in the System for Award Management (SAM). The goal of this contract is to enhance the facility's heating capabilities by installing high-efficiency Lochinvar brand boilers, which is a specific requirement for this project. This contract is a Total Small Business Set-Aside, with a budget range between $250,000 and $350,000. Work Details The contractor will be responsible for all labor, materials, equipment, and supervision necessary to complete the following tasks: 1. Demolition and disposal of the existing legacy boilers. 2. Installation of two new high-efficiency Lochinvar boilers (brand name only), including associated piping, venting, electrical work, and control systems. 3. Site safety management and operator training. 4. Delivery of final operation and maintenance manuals along with redline drawings within the performance period.
