Replace Boiler Feed and Condensate Lines 610A4-26-202

Summary: Background The contract is issued by the VA Northern Indiana Health Care Systems, specifically for the Fort Wayne Campus. The mission of the agency is to provide high-quality healthcare services to veterans. The goal of this contract is to replace outdated and failing boiler feed lines and condensate lines, which are critical for maintaining operational efficiency in the facility's boiler plant. Work Details The contractor will provide all labor, equipment, materials, and supervision necessary to replace the Boiler feed lines, condensate lines, associated valves, piping, and other material inside Building 2. This includes: 1. Demolition and disposal of existing feed water lines from pumps to boilers (including valves and insulation). 2. Demolition and disposal of existing condensate lines (including valves and insulation). 3. Installation of a new feed water system matching the existing system. 4. Installation of a new condensate system matching the existing system. 5. Salvage and reuse of Automatic Level Control Units from the current Boiler Feed Water System. The project involves approximately 300 linear feet of pipe, 185 fittings, and 50 valves. Period of Performance The work is expected to be completed within 90 calendar days from receipt of the notice to proceed. Place of Performance All work will be performed at the VA Northern Indiana Health Care Systems – Fort Wayne Campus, located at 2121 Lake Avenue, Fort Wayne, IN 46805-5100.
