Background

The Idaho Department of Lands is seeking quotes for the provision and installation of CXT Cascadian Vault Toilets or equivalent. Work Details

The contractor is required to provide, deliver, and install one (1) pre-engineered vault toilet CXT Cascadian Vault Toilet or equivalent at two locations: Bowen Cabin Area and Luthy Corral Trailhead. Each installation includes site preparation, excavation, backfilling, building setup, leveling, ventilation with sweet-smelling technology, and ensuring ADA compliance with toilet risers and grab bars. The contractor must also furnish all necessary equipment and obtain all required permits and licenses prior to commencing work. Specific details include: - Installation includes materials, excavation, backfill, cleanup, transportation (fixed rate), Idaho State PO Drawing, and any required permits. - Each location requires one (1) single user waterless restroom.

Period of Performance

The contract work may commence after the contractor receives a Notice to Proceed and has had a pre-work conference with the Contracting Officer Representative (COR). All work must be completed by August 31, 2026.

Place of Performance

The installations will take place at Bowen Cabin Area and Luthy Corral Trailhead in the Kelly Canyon area of Idaho. Exact site locations will be provided during a pre-work meeting with the COR.

Bidder Requirements

All quotes over $50,000 require a Public Works License. Contractors must ensure compliance with all local regulations regarding permits and licenses. Additionally, contractors must maintain liability insurance that includes coverage for bodily injury and property damage with limits not less than $1 million per occurrence.
