Work Details The scope of work includes providing all labor, materials, and equipment necessary for the complete replacement and upgrade of the existing campus fire alarm system. Specific tasks include: 1. Demolition of the existing fire alarm system, including removal of all finishes, fixtures, electrical distribution, and fire/alarm systems. 2. Installation of new systems as per construction documents which encompass general construction, new interior partitions, alterations, renovations, asbestos and lead abatement, interior finishes, doors and hardware, mechanical systems, electrical installations, fire protection systems, and security systems. 3. The contractor must submit a detailed Infection Control Risk Assessment Plan that includes Lead Paint and Asbestos removal certification. 4. Compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local codes/regulations/standards throughout the project duration. 5. The contractor shall provide proof that an OSHA certified 'competent person' will be present at the work site during construction activities. Period of Performance The contractor shall begin performance within 10 calendar days after receiving award notice to proceed and complete it within 420 calendar days.
