Floor Repair @ Fair Park ECC

Background

The Little Rock School District is seeking sealed bids from qualified licensed contractors for floor repair services at Fair Park Early Childhood Center (ECC). The goal of this contract is to ensure the facility is maintained to a high standard, supporting the district's mission of providing quality education in a safe environment.

Work Details

The contractor will be responsible for providing comprehensive floor repair services at Fair Park ECC, located at 616 N Harrison Street, Little Rock, AR 72205. This includes assessing the current condition of the flooring, executing necessary repairs, and ensuring all work meets safety and quality standards. The contractor must be prepared to begin work immediately upon receipt of the Notice to Proceed and complete all work within six weeks. Liquidated damages will apply for delays beyond this timeframe.

Period of Performance

The contract work must commence upon receipt of the Notice to Proceed and be completed within six weeks.

Bidder Requirements

Bidders must possess a valid Arkansas Contractor's License. A mandatory pre-bid meeting is scheduled for June 3, 2026, at the project site. Bidders are required to submit a bid bond of 5% of the total bid amount in the form of a cashier’s check or insurance surety bond. Proof of insurance must be provided within five business days after bid opening. Additionally, bidders must comply with minority business enterprise (MBE) and women-owned business enterprise (WBE) participation goals.
