Background The contract is issued by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) for the purpose of maintaining and improving the infrastructure at the VA Northern Indiana Health Care System, specifically at the Fort Wayne Campus. The goal of this contract is to replace damaged duct insulation on the PACT roof of Building 1, ensuring compliance with sustainable construction practices and safety regulations. Work Details The contractor will provide all labor, equipment, materials, and supervision necessary to complete the following tasks: - Remove and dispose of existing damaged insulation; - Install 2-inch FSK fiberglass duct board; - Rejacket the entire duct with aluminum guard; - Seal insulation to prevent water intrusion; - Adhere to all pertinent OSHA safety requirements. Period of Performance The work is to be completed within 60 calendar days from contractor receipt of notice to proceed.
