Public Relations & Marketing for the Alaska Mental Health Trust Authority

Background

The Alaska Mental Health Trust Authority (the Trust) is seeking proposals for a communications contractor to enhance public understanding of the Trust and Trust Land Office. The goal of this contract is to support brand advancement and develop comprehensive communications strategies across various media platforms, including paid, earned, and social media. The contractor will engage in proactive media outreach, public relations, risk communication, community relations, and initiatives aimed at reducing stigma while increasing awareness of the Trust’s mission and impact.

Work Details

The contractor will be responsible for the following services: - Development and deployment of strategic public relations and marketing efforts. - Creation of comprehensive communications strategies across paid, earned, and social media channels. - Proactive media engagement to enhance visibility. - Public relations activities aimed at improving community relations. - Risk communication strategies to address potential challenges. - Creative production of key materials that align with the Trust's branding objectives.

Period of Performance

The contract will be performed from the date of award until June 17, 2026.

Place of Performance

The work will primarily be conducted in Alaska, with specific emphasis on outreach within the state.

Bidder Requirements

Offerors must confirm they are engaged in providing the required services and have the financial strength to perform under this RFP. They must maintain necessary insurance and comply with various federal laws including the Americans with Disabilities Act and Equal Employment Opportunity Act. Additionally, offerors must not be debarred or suspended from receiving federal contracts.
