The contractor is required to maintain a reasonable stock on hand for delivery and must participate in pre-season meetings with INDOT districts. Reports on depot salt levels, sales, penalties, and deliveries must be submitted bi-weekly. The contractor must also comply with specific quality standards regarding chemical composition and gradation, with penalties for non-compliance outlined in the specifications.
