Background

The State of Montana, Department of Public Health and Human Services is issuing this Request for Proposal (RFP) to provide legal advice and advocacy to individuals aged 60 and older. The mission of the agency is to ensure the health and well-being of its residents, particularly vulnerable populations such as seniors.

Work Details

The contractor will provide legal advice and advocacy services specifically tailored for individuals aged 60 and older. A complete description of the services required is detailed in the Scope of Work located within the solicitation. The annual operations cost for these services must not exceed $158,430 for the fiscal year 2026, covering the period from July 1, 2026, through June 30, 2027.

Period of Performance

The contract will be performed over a one-year period from July 1, 2026, to June 30, 2027.

Place of Performance

Services will be performed in the State of Montana.

Bidder Requirements

Offerors must have a Unique Entity ID (UEI) registered at SAM.GOV and complete the Federal Form NDA889. They are also required to comply with various prerequisites including acceptance of conflict-of-interest notices and insurance requirements. Additionally, submission of specific documents such as Business Information, Specifications/Scope document, Cost Proposal document, and Offeror Qualifications document is necessary.
