Background The Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA), Western Regional Office (WRO), is issuing this solicitation for the Metal and Glass Door Reframing project as part of their initiative to replace and standardize door assemblies in the Western Nevada Agency located in Carson City, NV. The goal of this contract is to ensure that the new installations meet updated design, safety, and functional requirements, including compliance with applicable building codes and ADA standards. Work Details The contractor shall furnish all necessary personnel, supervision, materials, equipment, services, and facilities to perform the following tasks: 1. Removal of existing metal and glass door frames as required. 2. Modification of openings to accommodate new or reconfigured doors. 3. Installation of new or refurbished metal and glass door frames ensuring compatibility with adjacent office furniture and systems. 4. Adjustment and alignment of doors for proper function, safety, and aesthetics. 5. Coordination with other trades and project team members to ensure seamless integration with furniture, finishes, and building systems. Period of Performance The contractor shall begin performance within 10 calendar days after receiving the award and complete it within a total period of 90 calendar days. Place of Performance The construction projects will be performed at the BIA Western Nevada Agency located at 311 E Washington St, Carson City, NV 89701. Bidder Requirements Bidders must provide performance and payment bonds within 15 calendar days after award. They are also responsible for determining applicable TERO fees and complying with the CRIT TERO Ordinance. Additionally, bidders must have the necessary licenses for construction work.
