Background

The Regional Maintenance Center at Puget Sound Naval Shipyard & Intermediate Maintenance Facility (PSNS & IMF) intends to award a stand-alone Firm-Fixed-Price contract for the maintenance, repair, and preservation of one (1) 65 FT BRAVO DIVE BOAT 65DS1101. The goal of this contract is to ensure the vessel is maintained to operational standards, supporting the mission of the PSNS & IMF.

Work Details

The contractor will coordinate with the Contracting Officer via the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) to deliver the vessel from Puget Sound Naval Shipyard (PSNS) Bremerton, WA. The tasks include: - Removing all fendering and sweeping blast cleaning; - Surveying the hull for corrosion and repairing it; - Preserving the exterior above and below waterline; - Applying nonskid to horizontal surfaces; - Replacing motor mounts; - Inspecting and installing shafting, rudders, and propellers; - Repairing HVAC systems; - Maintaining watertight hatches and doors; - Repairing push knee structures; - Replacing corroded deck and bulkhead structures in the main cabin; - Installing remote fuel shut-offs; - Addressing corrosion beneath transformers in the aft lazzarette; - Replacing hydraulic and fuel hoses; - Repairing shower room drain structures; - Removing, repairing, and reinstalling windows; - Replacing fire suppression system piping and recertifying it; - Repairing port bow damage; - Modifying swim platform stairs; - Restoring preservation systems on pilot house consoles; - Replacing existing generators with supplied Kohler generators; - Modifying fendering systems; - Removing, inspecting, preserving, and reinstalling rudders; - Replacing thru hull valves and flexible hoses; - Replacing false bulkheads in shower room and head areas; - Cleaning all tanks; - Performing sea trials after repairs are completed. The contractor will also arrange for the delivery of the vessel back to the Government.

Period of Performance

The expected period of performance is from March 25, 2026, to May 29, 2026.

Place of Performance

The work will be performed at the contractor's facility located within the Puget Sound region of Washington State.
