Work Details The contractor shall provide the following: 1. Blood Products: - Homologous leukoreduced red blood cell units - Blood components and plasma derivatives - All products must be tested and processed according to AABB standards and FDA regulations. 2. Apheresis Services: - Separation and removal of blood components as per physician orders. - Services must include monitoring during procedures and documentation in patient charts. 3. Reference Laboratory Testing: - Available 24/7 with compliance to CLIA standards. Orders categorized as Routine, ASAP, or STAT with specific processing times outlined (e.g., STAT orders processed within 1 hour). 4. Delivery Requirements: Blood products must be delivered to the Omaha VAMC within specified timeframes based on order type, with provisions for emergency deliveries.
