Electrical / Electronic Maintenance and Repair Services

Background

The State of Rhode Island is issuing this solicitation under the MPA 41 Open Enrollment program to seek qualified vendors for electrical and electronic maintenance and repair services. The goal of this contract is to provide comprehensive support for installation, modification, and emergency response related to electrical systems, ensuring the operational integrity of state facilities.

Work Details

Vendors are required to provide services that include: - Installation and modification of miscellaneous electrical maintenance - Repair and installation projects - 24-hour emergency service call response. The contract will establish a Master Price Agreement or Master Qualified Service Provider list, allowing for as-needed services based on agency requirements.

Period of Performance

The contract period will commence on May 22, 2026, and will continue until November 21, 2030. The initial contract period will begin on September 1, 2026, for three years with potential renewals for two additional 12-month periods based on vendor performance and availability of funds.

Place of Performance

Services will be performed at various locations throughout the State of Rhode Island as required by state agencies.

Bidder Requirements

Vendors must register in Ocean State Procures™ to submit proposals. They must comply with all licensing requirements necessary for the services described in this solicitation. Insurance requirements include: - Liability coverage of $1 million per occurrence - Workers' compensation insurance - Automobile liability insurance among others. Vendors are also required to submit an MBE Participation Acknowledgment Form as part of their proposal.
