Host and maintain Team Based Care training modules

Background

The contract is issued by the Maine Center for Disease Control and Prevention, specifically through the Division of Disease Prevention/Chronic Disease. The goal of this contract is to support and maintain the Department’s Online Team Based Care Training Portal under the National Cardiovascular Program. This initiative aims to improve access and implementation of team-based care strategies in rural, underserved areas, ultimately enhancing healthcare quality for priority populations.

Work Details

The contractor will provide support and maintenance for the Online Team Based Care Training Portal. This includes updating the learning management system with current information related to chronic disease management and team-based care quality improvement activities. Additionally, enhancing platform accessibility and interactivity will engage healthcare providers effectively. The contractor will also be responsible for issuing Continuing Education Units (CEUs) to healthcare providers who complete the training modules.

Period of Performance

The contract is set to begin on July 1, 2025, and will end on June 29, 2027.

Place of Performance

The services will be performed in Portland, ME.

Bidder Requirements

The selected vendor is the University of Southern Maine, which has built and currently maintains the training portal. Their familiarity with the Department's work and capability to produce CEUs for healthcare providers makes them uniquely qualified for this contract.
