Work Details

Vendors are required to furnish and install a cooling dominant HVAC system at the Bristol Armory. The system must utilize inverter-driven, air-source heat pump equipment. The base bid includes: 1 unit of HVAC system installation. Additional specifications include an allowance for site conditions of $5,000, unit costs for additional gypsum board for patching existing walls (cost per sq. ft.), and deduct costs for acoustical ceiling tile and grid (cost per sq. ft.). Liquidated damages are set at $250 per day for delays beyond the substantial completion date.

Period of Performance

The contract will commence 30 calendar days after receipt of the purchase order, with substantial completion expected within five months from the start of construction. Final completion is anticipated 30 calendar days thereafter.

Bidder Requirements
