Background The Northern Indiana Healthcare System (NIHCS), specifically the Fort Wayne Campus, is seeking to procure Reusable Medical Device (RMD) and general surgical instrument Preventative Maintenance (PM) and routine maintenance services. The goal of this contract is to ensure that medical devices and surgical instruments are properly maintained to support the healthcare mission of the Department of Veterans Affairs. Work Details The contractor will provide comprehensive preventative maintenance and routine maintenance services for reusable medical devices and general surgical instruments. This includes all necessary labor, management, equipment, supplies, and other resources required to ensure that these medical devices are maintained according to the Statement of Work (SOW). The services will cover a base period and multiple option years as follows: - Base Year: 08-01-2026 to 07-31-2027 - Option Year 1: 08-01-2027 to 07-31-2028 - Option Year 2: 08-01-2028 to 07-31-2029 - Option Year 3: 08-01-2029 to 07-31-2030 - Option Year 4: 08-01-2030 to 07-31-2031. The contractor must comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws during the performance of this contract. Period of Performance Base period from August 1, 2026, through July 31, 2027, with four additional option years extending through July 31, 2031.
