Background The Western Area Power Administration (WAPA), specifically the South Dakota Maintenance Office located in Huron, SD, is issuing a sole source contract for the supply of galvanized tower security brackets. Work Details The contract involves the supply of galvanized tower security brackets from Huron Welding. These brackets are designed as part of an anti-climbing device that was successfully tested and installed on four steel lattice towers at Ft. Thompson. A total of sixteen brackets were manufactured by Huron Welding for this purpose.
