Background The National Park Service (NPS), Pacific West Region, is issuing this Invitation for Bid (IFB) for the project titled 'LAKE - Extend Ramp at Pearce Ferry.' The goal of this contract is to enhance the existing takeout ramp on the Colorado River at Pearce Ferry, which supports rafting and jetboat expeditions through the Grand Canyon. This project is a competitive 100% Small Business Set-Aside with an estimated magnitude between $1.5 million to $1.9 million. Work Details The contractor will perform the following tasks: 1. Reset 1800 square feet of precast concrete panels to extend the existing ramp by 55 feet towards the river. 2. Pour a new 8,400 square foot concrete pad for staging equipment and vehicles at the top of the launch ramp. 3. Widen the overall launch ramp by 40 inches to provide more launching and staging area for rafting and jetboat expeditions. Period of Performance The contract performance period is from July 6, 2026, to November 28, 2026. Place of Performance The construction projects will be performed at Pearce Ferry Boat Ramp, located in Boulder City, NV.
