The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Los Angeles District, is conducting market research to identify prime contractors capable of the design and construction of a Tactical Unmanned Aerial Vehicle Hangar at Ft. Huachuca, Arizona. This is a Sources Sought Synopsis for market research purposes only and does not constitute a solicitation for proposals or an obligation on the part of the U.S. Government. The Government will not pay for any information received in response to this notice. The purpose is to identify qualified and interested firms, particularly small businesses, capable of performing the work described herein. All interested Businesses, including Small Businesses, certified HUBZONE, 8A, Woman-Owned Small Businesses, Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business, and Large Business contractors should respond to this survey NLT 26 June 2026 by 2:00PM Pacific Standard Time. Background The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Los Angeles District, is conducting market research to identify prime contractors capable of the design and construction of a Tactical Unmanned Aerial Vehicle Hangar at Ft. Huachuca, Arizona. This Sources Sought Synopsis aims to identify qualified and interested firms, particularly small businesses, capable of performing the work described herein. The Government will not pay for any information received in response to this notice. Work Details The anticipated scope of work includes a complete design-build solution for constructing a non-standard design Tactical Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (TUAV) Hangar for the storage and maintenance of Group 3 Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS). The project includes: - One aircraft storage hangar - One covered aircraft re-fueling pit - One covered fuel storage area - One aircraft monitor building - One aircraft monitoring canopy - Associated aprons and taxiways. Installation of a fire suppression system (Fire and Life Safety Platform) and bundled Utility Monitoring and Control Systems along with Sustainability/Energy enhancement measures are required. Supporting facilities include site development, utilities and connections, lighting, paving, walks, curbs and gutters, and storm drainage. Compliance with the Department of Defense (DoD) Minimum Antiterrorism standards for buildings is mandatory. Comprehensive interior design services are also required. Facilities will be designed to a minimum life of 40 years according to DoD's Unified Facilities Criteria (UFC 1-200-02), including energy efficiencies and integrated building systems performance.
