Background

The Municipality of Anchorage is seeking bids for year-round road maintenance services for the Chugiak-Birchwood-Eagle River Rural Road Service Area (CBERRRSA). The goal of this contract is to ensure the maintenance and operational readiness of roads within the designated area, thereby supporting the community's infrastructure needs.

Work Details

The contractor will provide various maintenance services including but not limited to: 1. Four 2019 model or newer graders with specific attachments and capabilities for snow removal. 2. Two 2018 model or newer pickup trucks with flatbed and snow plow attachments. 3. Ten 2018 or newer pickups equipped with laborers and snow plows. 4. Four 2016 model trucks with chassis-mounted sanders and underbody grader blades. 5. Four 2018 model end dump trucks with specified capacities and features. 6. One 2018 model rubber-tired front-end loader located at the Municipal Maintenance Facility for year-round use. 7. Various other equipment including water/flusher trucks, vibratory compactors, hydro seeders, and more, each with specific requirements for operation and maintenance during summer or winter seasons.

Period of Performance

The contract will be performed over a period of one year, starting from the date of award, with specific seasonal requirements for different types of equipment and services.

Place of Performance

The work will primarily take place in the Chugiak-Birchwood-Eagle River Rural Road Service Area (CBERRRSA) within Anchorage, Alaska.
