Rowley Training Center. The contract aims to ensure the availability of high-quality ammunition that meets industry performance standards. Work Details The contract includes the provision of small arms ammunition for a base period and four option years. The specifications include: 1. All ammunition must meet ANSI and SAAMI standards unless otherwise noted. 2. Shell casings must be brass or higher quality, in virgin condition; no reloaded cases accepted. 3. Each cartridge must be head stamped with the manufacturer’s symbol and description. 4. Propellant and primers must be newly manufactured (within 12 months) and consistent within each lot. 5. All ammunition must be no older than one year from manufacture, with clean packaging. 6. Chamber pressures must comply with SAAMI specifications. 7. Packaging must ensure safe delivery, marked 'Government Use Only. Not for Resale.' 8. CLIN 0001: 5.56 NATO standard ammunition packaged 10 rounds per stripper clip, 20 rounds per box, 1,000 rounds per case. 9. CLIN 0002: .308 Winchester/7.62 NATO Match ammunition packaged 20 rounds per box, 200 rounds per case. 10. Each carton must be marked according to Federal Standard 123 with necessary details including nomenclature, quantity, manufacturer’s name, lot number, contract number, and delivery order number. Place of Performance Delivery will occur at the James J. Rowley Training Center located in Laurel, Maryland.
