Background

The State of Delaware, through its Department of Health and Social Services, is seeking to enhance and maintain the Cancer and Chronic Disease Data Management System. The goal of this contract is to obtain professional services that will support the management and improvement of data related to cancer and chronic diseases, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and standards.

Work Details

The Vendor shall provide professional services as specified in the Appendices to this Agreement. These services include but are not limited to: 1. Performing data aggregation and analysis related to cancer and chronic disease management. 2. Ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations regarding Protected Health Information (PHI). 3. Providing technical support for the Cancer and Chronic Disease Data Management System. 4. Assisting in the development of reports and documentation required by the State. 5. Implementing changes as directed by Delaware through written orders, including submitting Change Orders for any modifications in scope or deliverables.

Period of Performance

The initial term of the contract will commence on the Start Date and will continue for a specified number of years, with options for renewal as agreed upon by both parties.

Place of Performance

The services will be performed primarily within the State of Delaware, with specific locations to be determined based on project requirements.

Bidder Requirements

Vendors must possess a valid business license in the State of Delaware as per 30 Del. C. § 2101. Additionally, vendors must maintain an active registration with SAM (System for Award Management) to receive federal grants and funds, providing a Unique Entity Identifier (UEI). Vendors are also required to carry specific insurance coverage including Commercial General Liability, Automotive Liability Insurance, and Worker’s Compensation Insurance.
