Background

The City of Boise, Idaho, is seeking proposals for professional engineering services primarily related to the Airport Improvement Program (AIP) and Passenger Facility Charge (PFC) funded airport capital improvement projects. The goal of this contract is to enhance the infrastructure and operational capabilities of the airport to better serve the community.

Work Details

The scope of work includes a variety of engineering services for anticipated projects such as: - Runway, taxiway, and apron pavement rehabilitation (both PCC concrete and asphalt) - Construction of cargo aprons - Safety area improvements - Airfield geometry changes - Airfield lighting upgrades - Storm water improvements - Roadway construction - Utility infrastructure development - Environmental documentation preparation - Security fence and gate installation - Safety Risk Management facilitator services - AGIS survey services - Equipment specifications development - Architectural design services - Other necessary engineering services.

Period of Performance

The contract will be performed over a five-year period from 2027 to 2032.

Place of Performance

The work will be performed at the Boise Airport in Boise, Idaho.

Bidder Requirements

Bidders must have an active Idaho architect license that is current and in good standing. Proposals must identify the supervising architect along with their Idaho license number. Proposals submitted without this information will be considered non-responsive.
