FMS1 Emergency Generator

Background

The Delaware Army National Guard is issuing a contract for the installation of a standby generator at the Field Maintenance Shop #1 (FMS #1) located at the River Road Training Facility in New Castle, Delaware. The goal of this project is to enhance the facility's power reliability by installing a new generator and automatic transfer switch, ensuring operational readiness for maintenance activities.

Work Details

The project involves the installation of one (1) new generator and an automatic transfer switch to serve FMS #1. The contractor will be responsible for all aspects of the installation including site preparation, equipment procurement, and compliance with all applicable regulations and standards.

Period of Performance

The contract is expected to be completed by May 2026.

Place of Performance

The work will be performed at the River Road Training Facility, 1197 River Road, New Castle, DE 19720.

Bidder Requirements

Bidders must attend a mandatory pre-bid meeting on June 10, 2026. Each bid must include a bid security equivalent to ten percent of the bid amount. The successful bidder must post a performance bond and payment bond equal to 100 percent of the contract price upon execution of the contract. Bidders are required to submit a completed List of Sub-Contractors with their bid and comply with all local laws regarding employment and wage requirements.
