Background The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) is issuing this Sources Sought Notice for the Red Rock Administration Building Phase 2 Repairs located at the Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area (RRNCA). The purpose of this contract is to renovate the Administration Building and associated site features, ensuring compliance with applicable standards and regulations. The project aims to restore functionality, improve weather resistance, and extend service life of the structures involved. The BLM's mission includes managing public lands for various uses while ensuring their protection. Work Details The scope of work includes essential repairs and upgrades to the Administration Building, nearby restroom facility, and associated parking lot retaining walls. Key tasks include: - Interior repairs: removal and replacement of worn carpeting and kitchen flooring, cleaning and sanitizing HVAC air ducts, and replacement of mechanical system components. - Exterior rehabilitation: repainting and stucco repairs on the Administration Building and restroom facility, as well as repairs to roof drainage systems. - Installation of new HVAC systems including a split-system unit, variable speed blowers, and integration into the building's automation system. - Installation of modular cubicles in designated areas to accommodate staff needs with sufficient electrical power distribution for operational equipment. Period of Performance The anticipated period of performance is 125 days after the Notice to Proceed. Place of Performance The construction projects will be performed at the Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area along State Route 159 (West Charleston Boulevard), approximately 17 miles west of the Las Vegas Strip, NV.
