Background The Department of Veterans Affairs is issuing this contract for the repair of the existing Climacool Surgery Chiller at the Clement J Zablocki Medical Center located at 5000 W National Avenue, Milwaukee, WI 53295-0004. The mission of the VA is to provide high-quality healthcare to veterans, and this contract aims to ensure that critical equipment in surgical settings is maintained and operational. Work Details The contractor shall provide labor, travel, parts, and materials necessary for the repair of the existing Climacool Surgery Chiller. Specific tasks include: 1) Providing eight High-Pressure Control Switches (HP.CTRL.SW.) rated at 610#, MAN 1/4"FFLR. 2) Supplying eight 200PSI WIKA R-1 Transducers and one 600PSI WIKA R-1 Transducer. 3) Delivering eight three-pole contactors rated at 90-amps with a 24 Volt Coil. 4) Providing eight auxiliary contacts (one normally closed contact). 5) Supplying two valves (HGBE-8 with a 7/8 outside diameter fitting). 6) Providing five drier liquid lines with a 1-1/8" outside diameter solder fitting. 7) Performing startup and testing to verify proper operation of the units for a fully functional system. All work must be performed by qualified personnel using appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), and the job site must be cleaned up after completion.
