EFC - Oracle Software License Product Support, Updates

Background

The Idaho Transportation Department (ITD) is seeking an exemption from competition for the purchase of Oracle Software License Product Support, Product Updates, and Security Patches. This request is made in light of the agency's ongoing reliance on the CGI Advantage system until the transition to the LUMA accounting system is complete. The exemption allows ITD to procure these services without a competitive bidding process, which is deemed impractical under current circumstances.

The proposed supplier for this contract is Mythics, which has previously provided support under an existing contract resulting from a prior Invitation to Bid (ITB). The agency has indicated that competition would be impractical due to the unique nature of the required services and their critical importance to ITD's current operations.
