Background

The Okaloosa County Tourist Development Department is responsible for various coastal resource management activities, including artificial reefs monitoring, invasive species detection and control, and water quality monitoring. The County is seeking charter boat services to assist with these activities on an as-needed basis, coordinated by the Coastal Resource Manager.

Work Details

The Contractor will provide Charter Boat Services as detailed in their proposal attached as Attachment 'A'. Services include providing qualified personnel to perform the required tasks, ensuring compliance with the County's needs, and conducting regular audits and inspections of the services provided. The Contractor must immediately inform the County of any issues that could cause damage. The services are to be performed satisfactorily and in accordance with the terms of this Agreement.

Period of Performance

The term of this Agreement shall begin upon execution by all parties and continue for three (3) years, with an option for mutual written renewal for up to one (1) additional two (2) year term.

Place of Performance

Services will be performed in Okaloosa County, Florida.

Bidder Requirements

The Contractor must be a certified and insured entity authorized to do business in Florida. The Contractor is also required to comply with nondiscrimination laws and regulations, maintain public records as per Florida Statutes Chapter 119, and secure all necessary permits and licenses. Subcontracting requires prior written approval from the County.
