Sheriff's Office Parking Shelter

Background

Sarpy County, Nebraska is seeking a qualified contractor for the design, fabrication, and installation of parking shelters at the Sarpy County Sheriff's Office. The goal of this project is to provide weather protection for vehicles primarily used by the Sheriff's Office, including cruisers, full-size SUVs, and ¾ ton pick-up trucks.

Work Details

The contractor will be responsible for: 1. Design, fabrication, and installation of four (4) parking shelters to cover a total of 47 stalls in the controlled-access parking lot. 2. Excavation and construction of structures necessary for the shelters. 3. Electrical work related to the installation of lighting under the shelters. 4. Full depth concrete repairs as needed in the existing parking lot. 5. Additional services necessary for successful project completion as specified in the RFP.

Period of Performance

The project timeline is flexible; however, once work begins, it must proceed diligently without unnecessary interruptions until substantially complete.

Place of Performance

The work will be performed at the Sarpy County Sheriff's Office located at 8335 Platteview Rd, Papillion, NE 68046.

Bidder Requirements

Bidders must comply with residency verification requirements as per Neb. Rev. Stat. §4-108 through §4-114 and use a federal immigration verification system (E-Verify) to determine work eligibility status of new employees.
