AASF Heat Pump Replacement

Background

The Delaware Army National Guard is issuing this solicitation for the replacement of heat pumps at the Army Aviation Support Facility. The goal of this contract is to enhance the facility's heating system by replacing outdated equipment with new, efficient water source heat pumps and a heat exchanger.

Work Details

The project consists of the replacement of 23 water source heat pumps and the installation of a new heat exchanger at the Army Aviation Support Facility located in New Castle, Delaware. The work will be performed according to the specifications detailed in the Contract Documents.

Period of Performance

The contract work is scheduled to be completed by June 30, 2026, with a mandatory pre-bid meeting occurring on June 11, 2026.

Place of Performance

The work will be performed at the Army Aviation Support Facility, located at 30 Corporate Circle, New Castle, DE 19720.

Bidder Requirements

Bidders must attend a mandatory pre-bid meeting and show identification upon entering the site. Each bid must include bid security equivalent to ten percent of the bid amount and all additive alternates. The successful bidder must provide a performance bond and payment bond equal to 100 percent of the contract price upon execution. Minority Business Enterprises (MBE), Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBE), Women-Owned Business Enterprises (WBE), and Veteran-Owned Business Enterprises (VBE) are encouraged to submit bids.
