Background

The Village of Los Lunas Wastewater Division is seeking to procure replacement parts and components for the Trojan UV3000™ ultraviolet disinfection systems utilized at their wastewater treatment facilities. These systems are essential for the final disinfection process, ensuring compliance with discharge permits and relevant state and federal regulations. The procurement is justified as a sole source due to Trojan Technologies being the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) of these systems, which are critical for maintaining operational integrity and regulatory compliance.

Work Details

The procurement includes the following replacement parts and components as specified in Trojan Technologies' quotation QM0005557 dated February 9, 2026: - 32 Lamp Drivers (2X80W LP 120-240V) - 10 Electrical Plugs (6P 16AWG STOOW SS 6') - 10 Receptacle Kits (UV3 6P) - 10 Module Leg Upgrade Kits (UV3 8L), which includes various components such as snap-in bushings, terminal blocks, lampholders, etc. - 2 Packs of O-Rings (B337 Endcap Sealing) containing 10 pieces each - 10 Service End Cap Assemblies (Power In UV3B). The total cost for these items is $20,438.88, excluding freight and handling.

Period of Performance

The procurement is expected to be executed following the approval process, with specific timelines dependent on the processing of the order and delivery schedules outlined by Trojan Technologies.

The products will be delivered to the Village of Los Lunas Wastewater Treatment Plant located at 1960 Heaton Loop, Los Lunas, NM 87031.

This procurement is classified as a sole source acquisition under New Mexico Procurement Code NMSA 1978, Section 13-1-126. Only Trojan Technologies Corporation can provide the necessary validated components that meet performance standards required for the Trojan UV3000™ systems.
