Replacement of Roofing at Falconwood Events Center at Beaver Island State Park

Work Requested

The contract involves the comprehensive replacement of the roofing system at the Falconwood Events Center, located in Beaver Island State Park. The scope of work includes:

Selective Demolition

Removal of the existing roofing system, associated flashings, sheathing, furring strips, existing EIFS system, and metal copings at parapet walls. Includes removal, labeling, and salvaging of gutters and cornice.

Metal Fabrication

Installation of metal truss stiffeners.

Framing Material

Furnishing all roof sheathing, new fascia material, roof blocking, and new cricket materials.

Rough Framing

Installation of roof sheathing, roof blocking, and new cricket materials. - Exterior Insulation & Finish Systems (EIFS): Cleaning existing EIFS and furnishing and installing new EIFS. - Roofing: Furnishing and installing all underlayment, flashing, shingles, fascia work, cornice work, re-installation of gutters, raking out mortar joints for counter flashing, and all coping at parapet walls. - Painting: Painting of cornice, fascia, and EIFS.
