New Utility Van

Background

The Pease Development Authority (PDA), an agency of the State of New Hampshire, is soliciting bids for a new model (2025/2026) Utility Van with a pass-through body. The PDA's mission includes fostering the redevelopment of the former Pease Air Force Base and promoting economic opportunities in the region. This procurement aims to enhance the PDA's operational capabilities by acquiring a utility vehicle designed for commercial daily use.

Work Details

The contract involves supplying one (1) new, current year production Chevrolet or GMC 3500 Utility Van with the following specifications: - Color: White - Engine: Gasoline powered - Drive: Rear wheel drive, single rear wheel - Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR): Minimum of 9,900 lbs - Dimensions: 10ft in length by 80 inches wide, with a 139-inch wheelbase and 6ft 6in interior height

Body Construction

Fiberglass shell with aluminum door frames and steel understructure; passthrough style to the vehicle cab; auxiliary lighted; primed and painted or gel coated.

Body Type

Rockport Workport enclosed service body with rear steel bumper, roof-mounted ladder rack, and exterior storage compartments with power locks.

Delivery Location

7 Lee Street, Portsmouth, NH 03801. - Warranty: One-year warranty covering defects due to design, material, or workmanship.

Period of Performance

The contract will commence upon award and is expected to be completed within a timeframe specified by the PDA after bid acceptance.

Place of Performance

The delivery of the utility van will take place at 7 Lee Street, Portsmouth, NH 03801.

Bidder Requirements

Bidders must be ISO 9001:2000 certified for design, sale, and manufacturing of commercial utility bodies. Additionally, bidders must provide proof of insurance meeting minimum coverage requirements including general liability ($1 million per occurrence), automobile liability ($1 million), and workers' compensation as per New Hampshire law. Bidders must also comply with all applicable laws and regulations.
