Background

The City of Nashua, NH is seeking qualified engineering firms to provide engineering services on an as-needed, project-specific basis. The Division of Public Works (DPW) aims to select two or more professional engineering firms with expertise in Street, Bridge, Traffic, Bicycle & Pedestrian, Survey, and Construction Engineering disciplines. This initiative supports the maintenance of infrastructure and completion of federally funded local public agency projects in partnership with the NH Department of Transportation.

Work Details

The selected firms will provide comprehensive engineering services including: planning, design, permitting assistance, bid and proposal development, engineering review and analysis, preparing grant applications, feasibility reports, cost/benefit analysis, peer review, survey work, contract administration, construction engineering, and observation for local and federally funded projects. The City reserves the right to retain multiple consultants and assign work based on project requirements and expertise.

Period of Performance

The consultant selection process is expected to be completed by August 1, 2026. The selected firms will have a contract validity of three years with the possibility of a two-year extension based on performance and funding availability.

Consultants must demonstrate a successful performance history in providing similar services for at least ten years. They must submit a qualifications-based Letter of Interest (LOI) that includes a cover letter, conflict of interest statement, knowledge and experience statement related to the requested disciplines, capacity narrative detailing current commitments and staffing levels, examples of services offered with brief descriptions of relevant projects, references from similar work performed (not exceeding three), team lead resume, and resumes for up to eight key personnel involved in project management.
