Summary

The Air Force intends to solicit the following supply: Requesting the purchase of one (1) Husqvarna CS 2512 or Equal complete turn-key based Wire Saw System shall include but is not limited to the following components and accessories: - Components: - One (1) Wire Saw that meets the following specifications: - Shall be designed to use with an external power supply specified below - Shall be capable of cutting steel and concrete for handling both small and large operations while being compact and mobile. - Shall be powered by a hydraulic motor that meets the following specifications: - - - - Deliver an output power rating of a minimum of 20 Kilowatts to the drive wheel - Have a spindle starting torque of a minimum of 190 Newton-Meters - The hydraulic motor and diamond wire shall be water cooled with a minimum pressure rate of 30 psi - Have a variable gear box that lets the wire move at a minimum range of 65 80 feet per second. - Shall not exceed a total overall weight of 330 pounds - Shall be able to perform both vertical and horizontal cuts - Shall include a guard that covers the internal components of the saw as well as the stored diamond wire inside of the Wire Saw. - The user shall have the ability to adjust the hydraulic pressure going into the Wire Saw and visibly monitor the current pressure rating. - Wire saw shall have one (1) outlet for water to allow the user to attach a water hose or an additional accessory - The Wire Saw shall have wheels and a handle to be able to move and transport the wire saw by one person. - Shall include adjustment screws to adjust the level of the saw depending on the location of the ground - Shall be able to be anchored to the grand when in operation. - Shal store a minimum of 52 feet of diamond wire - Shall have a tension indicator that monitors the current tension of the diamond wire - Shall include a tool kit with the necessary tools and brushes to be able to properly maintain and service the piece of equipment per the operators manual. - - - Shall include a physical and digital copy of the operator's manual for the Wire Saw - - One (1) Power Pack that is powered by an electric motor shall supply power to the Wire Saw while meeting the following specifications: - The Power Pack shall be able to operate and power the Wire Saw 20 feet away from the Wire Saw. - Shall have an emergency stop button on the unit to shut down the Power Pack - Shall have an ON/OFF button that switches the Power Pack ON/OFF - Shall include one (1) remote control to control the cutting power and speed of the diamond wire on the Wire saw that meets the following specifications: - The power cable to operate the remote control shall be a minimum of 25 feet long - Shall have a physical button that switches the electric motor on the Power Pack ON/OFF - Shall have an emergency stop button on the controller to shut down the Power Pack - Shall have an analog display - Shall have physical buttons to allow the user to interact with the user interface on the remote control - Shall display the current voltage for all three phases of the Power Pack - Shall be a fully wired remote. If it does have a wireless capability, it shall have the ability to be disabled. - Shall have a built-in fail safe to halt operation in the event the motor is overheating - Shall include two (2) lifting contact points to safely lift the Power Pack from a hoist or to secure it during transport - The hydraulic output shall be a minimum of 25 kW - Shall have a 4-pin 480V (32-63A) three phase plug to supply electrical power to the Power Pack - Shall have a set of wheels and a handle to be able to transport or move the equipment by one person. - Shall not exceed a total of 310 pounds including oil in the Power Pack. - Accessories: - Two (2) fixtures both have pulleys that are offset from each other. The pulleys shall be compatible with a wire diameter range of 6mm to 12mm. - One (1) Hydraulic Crimping Tool that is able to crimp 10.3mm diameter diamond wire - One hundred (150) 8.0/5.0 x 24mm crimps - Include three hundred (300) feet of diamond wire that meets the following requirements: - Have a wire diameter of 10.3mm - Have a bead diameter of 0.4 in - Be used with wet or dry coolant - Shall include three (3) mountable fixtures to redirect the wire for various cutting scenarios. The fixtures shall mount 2 x 2 square tubing and include the necessary pulleys to guide wire with a minimum wire diameter range of 6mm 12mm - The necessary hydraulic lines for operation shall be provided with a minimum pressuring rating of 3,340 PSI. The hydraulic lines shall come pre-installed with the necessary connectors needed to operate this piece of equipment. - Shall include one (1) Water nozzle that can be placed at the entrance of the cutting material. To cool the wire that is actively cutting through the material. - Shall include a minimum of two (2) days' worth of operational and maintenance training. - The Contractor shall provide performance verification - The vendor must be the manufacturer, or an authorized reseller, of the Wire Saw system A Firm Fixed Price type contract is contemplated.

30 days ARO This is a small business set-aside System for Award Management (SAM) is required to receive any award. Contractors can register electronically at https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM/. The NAICS code for this requirement is 333310 with a size standard of 1000 EMP. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement by submitting a proposal.
