Water Department On-Site Fabricated Buildings

Background

The City of Spring Hill is issuing a Request for Proposal (RFP) for the construction of on-site fabricated metal buildings at the Water Department located at 3636 Royal Park Boulevard. The purpose of this contract is to secure competitive pricing and award for the complete installation of these buildings, which will be used for storage of equipment and materials by the City’s personnel.

Work Details

The contract includes the construction of three exterior metal buildings: 1) One (1) 50'L x 24'W x 13'H metal building with a 12' wide lean-to on each side; 2) One (1) 40'L x 30'W x 13'H fully enclosed metal building featuring two (2) roll-up shop doors and a manway door; 3) One (1) 96'L x 25'W x 13'H open front metal building with four (4) bays measuring 25' x 24' x 13'. The buildings must be constructed on an existing asphalt parking lot, anchored as necessary, and comply with local and state building codes. The contractor is responsible for all labor, materials, installation, anchoring, and cleanup. Specific requirements include using galvanized steel tubing for framing, ensuring wind resistance up to 145 MPH, and adhering to specified color schemes.

Period of Performance

The contract work is expected to commence upon award and must be completed by June 9th, 2026.

The work will be performed at the City’s Water Department located at 3636 Royal Park Boulevard, Spring Hill, TN.

Bidder Requirements

Bidders must comply with specific requirements including having a drug-free workplace program in place, obtaining necessary permits and inspections, providing proof of insurance coverage as per specified limits, and ensuring compliance with all applicable federal and state laws. Additionally, bidders must submit a Certificate of Non-Illegal Immigrant Use and a Certificate of Nondiscrimination.
