Chemical & biological agent inventory services

Background

The University of Texas M.D. Anderson Cancer Center (MD Anderson) is seeking proposals from qualified firms to provide Chemical & Biological Agent Inventory Management Services. The goal of this contract is to support the daily business operations of MD Anderson's Environmental Health & Safety, Sustainability and Emergency Management (EHSSEM) department, ultimately aiming to reduce risk and costs while optimizing operations.

Work Details

The contractor will be responsible for providing services related to the management of chemical and biological agent inventories. This includes maintaining accurate records, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and supporting the operational needs of MD Anderson's EHSSEM department. The contractor will also assist in risk assessment and mitigation strategies associated with chemical and biological agents.

Period of Performance

The contract is expected to commence upon award and will continue for a duration specified in the final agreement, with performance details outlined in the Scope of Work.

Place of Performance

Services will be performed at MD Anderson Cancer Center located at 7007 Bertner Ave, Houston, Texas 77030-3907.

Bidder Requirements

Bidders must comply with the Historically Underutilized Business (HUB) Subcontracting Plan as part of their proposal if subcontracting opportunities are probable. Additionally, contractors must submit a completed Form 1295 before or concurrent with the submission of the signed contract if awarded.
