Specialized Maintenance Services

Background

The White Plains Housing Authority is seeking proposals for specialized maintenance services to support the upkeep of federally subsidized public housing units. The goal of this contract is to ensure that the housing units are maintained in accordance with local, state, and federal requirements, particularly focusing on HUD standards and regulations.

Work Details

The contractor will be responsible for the routine restoration of vacated units and cyclical painting of 270 federally subsidized public housing units. Additional responsibilities include tile floor repair and renovation, as well as carpentry repair. The contractor must have experience working with Public Housing and be knowledgeable about HUD REAC requirements.

Period of Performance

The contract period is one year starting from August 1, 2026, with an option for a second year upon mutual agreement.

Place of Performance

The services will be performed at various properties managed by the White Plains Housing Authority located in White Plains, NY.

Bidder Requirements
