Background The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is seeking to procure unarmed security guard services for the Milwaukee VA Medical Center (VAMC), Union Grove Community Based Outpatient Clinic (CBOC), and Oconomowoc VA Clinic. The goal of this contract is to ensure the safety and welfare of patients, visitors, and staff at these facilities through professional and courteous uniformed security services. Work Details The contractor will provide all necessary transportation, management, supervision, personnel, equipment, training, and supplies to deliver unarmed security guard services. Specific tasks include: 1. Coverage Requirement: The contract must detail locations and hours for each period of performance. Additional services may be required as needs change. 2. Personnel Coverage: The contractor is responsible for ensuring that all posts are covered at all times, including when employees are late or on vacation. The contractor must contact the Milwaukee VA Police Service for any replacements. 3. Estimated Coverage: - Milwaukee VAMC Building 43: 1 guard Monday to Friday from 7:30 am - 5:30 pm; total estimated hours per year: 2,365.5 hours. - Milwaukee VAMC Building 111 (Valet Area): 1 guard Monday to Friday from 7:30 am - 4:00 pm; total estimated hours per year: 1,992 hours. - Milwaukee VAMC Guard Shack (Parking Garage): 1 guard Monday to Friday from 6:00 am - 2:30 pm; total estimated hours per year: 2,365.5 hours. - Union Grove CBOC: Total estimated hours per year: 1,992 hours. 4. Training Requirements: Contractor employees will receive training on VA policies and regulations during a minimum of eight hours of government-furnished training. Period of Performance The period of performance for this contract is from October 1, 2026 through September 30, 2027. Place of Performance The services will be performed at the Milwaukee VA Medical Center located at 5000 W. National Avenue, Milwaukee, WI; Union Grove CBOC; and Oconomowoc VA Clinic.
