Industry Forum Green Line CBTC Signal Upgrade

Background

The Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority (SEPTA) is planning to replace the existing Communications-Based Train Control (CBTC) system on the Greenline Subway-Surface Tunnel (GLSST), which is nearing the end of its operational life. The current CBTC system, implemented in 2005, was an upgrade from wayside signaling to a first-generation Urbalis Flo system by Alstom. This outreach forum aims to provide preliminary details about the upcoming procurement and generate interest among contractors and vendors.

The procurement opportunity includes, but is not limited to:

Rail Operations Control Center

- Train Control and Communications System.

The forum will take place on January 8, 2026, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM.

Place of Performance

The event will be held at SEPTA Office, 1234 Market Street, 3rd Floor Conference Room, Philadelphia, PA. A virtual option is also available for participation.
