Background The Department of Veterans Affairs, Veterans Health Administration (VHA), Network Contracting Office 19 (NCO 19) is conducting a market survey to seek potential sources for Gym Memberships tailored to geriatric level fitness requirements. This initiative aims to improve fitness for older Veterans at the Rocky Mountain Regional VA Medical Center (RMRVAMC). The notice serves solely for market research and planning purposes and does not constitute a solicitation or request for proposal. Work Details The contractor will provide gym memberships that include access to gym facilities and equipment for up to 81 older Veterans. Key tasks include: - Providing access to gym facilities, including exercise equipment such as walking/running tracks, treadmills, ellipticals, recumbent bikes, ergometers, free weights, weight machines, and resistance bands during specified hours. - Offering access to exercise space/studio areas for group exercises led by trained VA staff. - Ensuring availability of a 1/12th mile indoor walking/running track with handrails for balance support. - Providing access to an indoor heated swimming pool for water aerobics classes and whirlpool use. - Allowing access to changing areas, locker rooms, showers, steam rooms, saunas, and restrooms. - Facilitating VA trained personnel to lead exercise sessions and conduct routine assessments per the Gerofit National Program Exercise Protocol.
