Background The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) is issuing this solicitation for the procurement of Foot and Mouth Disease Virus (FMDV) Enzyme Linked Immunosorbent Assay (ELISA) Kits. The goal of this contract is to ensure the availability of these kits, which are critical for veterinary diagnostics and disease management. This amendment serves to clarify requirements and incorporate necessary clauses as per federal regulations. Work Details Contractors are required to provide FMDV ELISA kits that meet the following specifications: - Must be Center for Veterinary Biologics (CVB) licensed/permitted at time of award; - Include a product description detailing licensing/permitting status per 9 CFR Parts 101-123, manufacturer name and location, storage capability and location, technical characteristics, analytical and diagnostic sensitivity, stated shelf life, and maximum number of reactions per kit. The contract will be structured as a firm-fixed price Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) with one base ordering period and four one-year ordering periods. Supplies will be ordered through individual Delivery Orders as needed by the USDA. Period of Performance The total duration of this contract shall not exceed 66 months. Place of Performance The kits must be delivered to the contractor's premises dedicated for use by the NAVVCB.
