DFCM Construction - Prequalified Electrical - Department of Workforce Services - DWS Admin Generator Replacement

Background

The State of Utah - Division of Facilities Construction and Management (DFCM) is seeking bids from Stage II Prequalified Electrical Contractors for the DWS Admin Generator Replacement project. This project aims to replace the existing generator and transfer switch, as well as install a new docking station at the Department of Workforce Services located in Salt Lake City, Utah. The estimated construction cost for this project is $325,000.00.

Work Details

The contractor will be responsible for the following tasks: 1. Replace the existing generator and transfer switch. 2. Install a new docking station. The contractor must coordinate the delivery of the generator from the manufacturer, including using a crane to remove the existing generator package and set the new generator package. The project design has been provided by Spectrum Engineering, and all work must comply with DFCM Approved Fabricator List, DFCM Design Management Documents, and State of Utah High Performance Building Standards.

Period of Performance

The substantial completion date for this project is set for March 31, 2027.

Place of Performance

The work will be performed at 140 E 300 S, Salt Lake City, Utah 84111.

Bidder Requirements

Only contractors who have been prequalified under Stage I Prequalification for Contractors are eligible to bid on this project. Bidders must submit a bid bond in the amount of 5% of their bid using AIA Document A310 – 2010 Bid Bond form or an equivalent form. Additionally, bidders must comply with all licensing laws required by the State of Utah.
