Vets Bridge Multiuse Path Repair Project

Background

The Oregon Department of Transportation (ODOT) is issuing this Invitation to Bid (ITB) for the I-5: Vets Bridge Multiuse Path Repair Project. The purpose of this contract is to repair the multiuse path underneath Structure No. BR07404A located along Interstate 5 NB at MP 124.54. This project aims to enhance the safety and accessibility of the multiuse path for pedestrians and cyclists, aligning with ODOT's mission to provide a safe and efficient transportation system.

Work Details

The work under this contract includes all labor, materials, transportation, equipment, and services necessary for the completion of the repair project. Specific tasks include: 1. Repairing the multiuse path beneath Structure No. BR07404A. 2. Compliance with prevailing wage requirements as outlined by BOLI. 3. Adherence to all specifications and plans provided in the ITB documents. 4. Substantial completion is required by March 27, 2026, and final completion by April 3, 2026.

Period of Performance

The period of performance for this contract will begin upon issuance of a Notice to Proceed and is expected to be completed by April 3, 2026.

Place of Performance

The work will be performed at the site located along Interstate 5 NB at MP 124.54 in Douglas County, Oregon.

Bidder Requirements

Bidders must be licensed with the State of Oregon Construction Contractors Board (CCB) prior to bidding on Public Improvement Contracts. They are required to submit a certified or cashier's check or Bid Bond equal to ten percent (10%) of their total bid amount as security. Additionally, bidders must comply with non-discrimination laws and have a Qualifying Employee Drug Testing Program in place.
