Background

The State of Delaware, through its Department of Health and Social Services, is seeking to engage a Vendor to provide professional services as outlined in the solicitation. The goal of this contract is to obtain specific services that will assist the agency in fulfilling its mission and operational needs. The Vendor will be required to adhere to various standards and regulations, including those related to health information privacy.

Work Details

The Vendor shall perform services as specified in the Appendices attached to the Agreement. This includes but is not limited to: - Providing professional services that may involve the use or disclosure of Protected Health Information (PHI) and compliance with HIPAA regulations. - Ensuring that all deliverables meet the technical accuracy and quality standards set forth by Delaware's Department of Technology and Information (DTI). - Submitting monthly invoices detailing the services provided, which must be paid within thirty days by Delaware. - Maintaining compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws during service delivery.

Period of Performance

The initial term of the contract will commence on the Start Date and continue for a specified number of years until the End Date. There may be options for renewal for additional periods as mutually agreed upon by both parties.

Place of Performance

The services will primarily be performed within the State of Delaware, with specific locations determined based on service requirements.

Bidder Requirements

Vendors must possess a valid Delaware business license as per 30 Del. C. § 2101. Additionally, they must comply with insurance requirements including: - Worker’s Compensation and Employer’s Liability Insurance. - Commercial General Liability Insurance with specified limits. - Automotive Liability Insurance covering all vehicles used in performance of work under this Agreement. Vendors must also provide a Unique Entity Identifier (UEI) as part of this agreement and maintain active registration with SAM.
