FDVA-Bennett Kitchen Dish Machine Replacement

Background

The Florida Department of Veterans’ Affairs (FDVA) is issuing this solicitation to establish an Agreement for the Emory L. Bennett State Veterans’ Nursing Home located at 1920 Mason Ave, Daytona Beach, FL 32117. The goal of this contract is to replace the existing kitchen dish machine with a new one, ensuring that all services and installations meet the satisfaction of FDVA and applicable authorities.

Work Details

The successful Contractor shall provide all labor, services, equipment, tools, materials, parts, and supplies required for the project. This includes: 1. Disconnecting and removing the existing Champion dishwasher model #44 Pro and disposing of it. 2. Installing one Hobart Conveyor Base Dishwasher model #CLPS66EN-BAS-1 with prior written approval from FDVA Contract Manager according to manufacturer specifications and warranty. 3. Reinstallation of all mounted, fastened in place, plumbed, and electrical equipment necessary for the operation of the new dishwasher. 4. Taking pictures and measurements to ensure items are replaced in their original positions. 5. Disconnecting or removing any nurse call system and fire alarm system devices in the work area with written approval from FDVA Contract Managers. 6. Providing training for kitchen and maintenance staff on user operation, troubleshooting, and preventative maintenance.

Period of Performance

The term of this contract shall commence upon full execution of the Agreement with no renewals allowed. All specified services must be completed to FDVA's satisfaction before September 11th, 2026.

Place of Performance

The work will be performed at the Emory L. Bennett State Veterans’ Nursing Home located at 1920 Mason Ave, Daytona Beach, FL 32117 (Volusia County).

Bidder Requirements

Contractors must have a minimum of five years documented experience in relevant fields and must be licensed to perform the required services. They must also provide all necessary licenses and certifications within fifteen calendar days from the date of Agreement execution.
