Background The Ennis National Fish Hatchery (NFH) is issuing this solicitation to replace insulation in the Lower Raceway Building located at 180 Fish Hatchery Road, Ennis, MT. The goal of this project is to provide safe and energy-efficient insulation due to the current degradation of existing materials caused by exposure to water condensation and freeze/thaw cycles. This project aligns with the mission of the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service to maintain healthy fish populations and habitats. Work Details The contractor is required to remove the existing batt insulation and vinyl protective covering from multiple designated workspaces within the Lower Raceway Building. The current materials have degraded significantly, posing safety risks for both humans and fish. After removal, the contractor will install closed cell spray foam insulation in the areas previously occupied by the batt insulation and vinyl coverings. All work must comply with applicable local, state, and federal regulations. The contractor must be licensed, accredited, and certified in Montana for insulation removal and installation.
