Work Details The contractor shall provide an EL-TFM system that includes the following tasks: - Design and develop a test system capable of applying various loading scenarios to tires. - Facilitate testing that measures vertical, lateral, and drag forces while loading the tire in multiple positions (vertical, yaw, roll). - Investigate footprint forces and deformations related to tire wear and localized forces transmitted into the wheel. - Measure tire profile information and quasi-static stiffness during various loading scenarios. - Conduct a series of reviews including Kickoff, Systems Requirement Review, Preliminary Design Review, Critical Design Review. - Prepare facilities including foundation and power supply. - Procure, build, install, integrate, and test subcomponents such as drive systems and load table systems. - Perform final acceptance testing and provide training along with training manuals. - Manage the program through systems engineering and master scheduling documentation.
