Background

The Allen County Surveyor’s Office is issuing this solicitation for the maintenance of regulated drains within Allen County, Indiana. Work Details

The contractor will be responsible for various tasks related to open drain maintenance, including but not limited to: 1. Clearing and grubbing of sites to remove vegetation and debris. 2. Debrushing to clear overgrown areas. 3. Ditch dipping and sediment removal to maintain proper drainage flow. 4. Seeding and restoration of disturbed areas post-maintenance. 5. Removal of logjams and obstructions that impede water flow. 6. Repairing eroded banks to prevent further degradation of the drainage systems.

Period of Performance

The contract will commence upon issuance of a Notice to Proceed and is expected to be executed continuously until all specified maintenance tasks are completed satisfactorily, with a timeline established in the contract documents.

Bidder Requirements

Bidders must provide proof of all necessary insurance coverage including Workmen's Compensation Insurance, General Liability, Property Damage, and Vehicle Liability Insurance prior to commencing work. Contractors must also comply with all local laws and regulations regarding construction practices.
